One of my favorite parts of Rabata culture is “attracting angels” or becoming an “angel magnet.” The idea is that we can make our homes more inviting to the angels, and as a result, our homes become filled with peaceful, worshiping beings. Beings that guard, praise, support, comfort, and pray for us. Subhanallah, what a treasured and immense blessing we have.
In this small but mighty book, Angels in Your Presence, Imam Omar Suleiman shows how we can invite these tranquil beings to surround us in and out of the home.
It is a short, easy book that provides tremendous solace: you always have unseen companions who laud your good deeds and are close companions when you feel like you have no one.
If you have anxiety about leaving home (like you feel you or your religion is under attack), know you have assistance from God and these beings. The book reminds us that setting out into the world is challenging for the believer, and Allah and His Angels always support us in this effort if we head out for good. We must trust in Allah that He is the Provider, the Comforter, and the All-Loving, and He does send angelic councils, communities, armies, and scribes for each believer. It is great news for the believers! May Allah continue His blessings.
