We love sharing our passion for literature, and last weekend we had the opportunity to do so at two community events.
On Saturday we went to Plymouth's Northwest Islamic Community Center for their Annual Family Spring Bazaar. As people browsed the aisles of food, clothing, and jewelry vendors they stopped by our booth to see a selection of our history, theology, and literature books, as well as some of our favorite Islamic children's books.
At the Islamic Institute of Minnesota in Burnsville, we set up a table at their kid's prayer workshop. We loved seeing young students take an interest in reading, and enjoyed helping parents pick out books for their children.
All in all, it was wonderful to get involved communities outside the Twin Cities, and get to know some of our Muslim neighbors!
