Indeed, you stand exalted to a high and noble character.
Quran 68:4
In this book, we’re going to explore twenty-one characteristics of the best teacher of all time ﷺ. You’ll learn how our Prophet ﷺ embodied confidence, respect, trustworthiness, and many other traits. You’ll learn how he taught us to be brave, honest, and grateful, even when it’s hard. You’ll learn how to include everyone, promote fairness, and be a good leader. And you’ll learn how to live happily in this life and the next.
Along the way, there will be questions that will help you become more self-aware, or understand yourself better. Think of it like getting to know yourself on a deeper level. You’ll recognize your strengths and pinpoint the areas that could use some work. Everyone has areas they need to work on, but—good news—we can develop good character traits over time. It’s like building muscles at the gym—the more you work on them, the stronger they become. And trust me, it’s not as hard as you think!
We tend to think that our happiness comes from what happens to us, but the reality is that happiness comes from how we respond to what happens to us. The path to happiness is like a map, and we get to choose how to follow it.
